centre of the universe for those who believe it and home to an ever changing frenzy of graffiti... brick lane and the shoreditch area yielded some good photos... banksy [of course], space invader, faile, pure evil, dscreet...

2006 * just off brick lane e1, a wonderful interpretation of the asian community here * i love the friendly vibe of this piece... tucked just round the corner near the bottom of brick lane...

2006 * you can see where this piece by space invader is! * this guy uses tiles and the like to produce pixelated mosaics of space invaders... you wouldn't believe the many possibilities from this single premise... they're often quite hard to spot too as he seems to mount them above eye level...

2006 * this is round the back of brick lane by the tube station and is by london. i particularly like the pakistani marking over the top of it * it was good to pick up an asian vibe here and there in the graffiti round brick lane... it's getting cleaned up and made 'respectable', but i can't help but mourn the artistic loss to the drab streets we walk...

2006 * a banksy from the shoreditch area * humour and mischief... two of the cornerstones of graffiti... irreverence and relevance... what am i searching for...? it's funny and disrespectful... it's funny coz it's disrespectful...?

2006 * grimsby street, e1 * there are a few of these giant men down this fab street... huge, yet almost lost amongst the bric a brac... this photo was taken early in the year...

2006 * while this same piece now has a dscreet owl beside it * taken in august and there's been an addition... it's a pity it all fades, but that makes way for the new...
