a graffiti vandal who tagged network rail properties and other buildings in the bristol area has been given an 18 month community punishment order to undertake 240 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay compensation of £5,1340.42. charles stewart baird, aged 26, who used the tag 'sickboy' pleaded guilty to four charges of causing criminal damage by graffiti and asked for 23 similar offences to be taken into consideration. baird was identified following an investigation by det con colin saysell of the british transport police who works closely with other agencies in the bristol area to tackle the graffiti scourge...
